Christmas Card Ideas -Cards for Troops with Stampin' Up! products.
Hi and welcome to my blog, i am a new Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! Australia and my upline manager Tracey is the Co Ordinator for Cards for Troops. Each year we collect christmas cards for our current serving Australian Defence Forces.

STAMPIN' UP! AUSTRALIA MEETS LIONS CLUB CHITTAWAY BAY
Last month I joined Stampin' Up! Australia with a delightful team here on the Central Coast of NSW Australia. As the president of my local Lions Club i love to serve my community and we donate our time and resources to our local community, much like stampin' up!.
Tonight was our Dinner meeting of the Chittaway Bay Lions Club, We invited my Stampin' Up!
team Manager Tracey Hanshaw along to give us a demonstration on Card Making so that we could widen our horizons on ways to fund raise for the community.
Tonight, Tracey taught us how to make a gorgeous Scalloped circle Easle card in a few different colours.
We were not so sure we would be able to make it, by the end of the demonstration tracey and I taught our whole meeting to make one each. Tonight we learned the art of using a die cutting machine called a big shot, textured embossing and a few other techniques such as sponging, stamping, punching and adding dimension to cards. It was wonderful to learn the art of card making and sharing it with my lioness's and watching their faces as they accomplished their own easel cards.

Come along and enjoy a day of Cardmaking and helping a good cause, For the past four years i have been collecting hand made christmas cards from card makers around australia to send overseas to Australian Defence Forces so they have beautiful christmas cards to send home to their families.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED.
Come along and spend a great time full of fun making christmas cards and show our soldiers you care and make a few cards to start off your christmas card stash and some great ideas and technique to make your own christmas cards.
